Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience and knowledge of global civil society organisations, social movements, and rights-based organisations
∎ Demonstrated understanding of current policy debates, analytical frameworks around economic justice issues.
∎ Knowledge of the political economy concerning the institutions that influence economic policies, with a particular focus on fiscal policy and rights-based approaches.
∎ Knowledge of broader policy debates around international development and poverty eradication
∎ Capacity to analyse economic data, policy documents.
∎ Proven experience of designing and managing research projects, including doing and commissioning research; different social research methods, including quantitative, qualitative & participatory methods.
∎ Proven ability to lobby effectively and successfully build relationships with key advocacy targets.
∎ Proven ability to deal sensitively and discreetly with people and information.
∎ Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising work effectively.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to gender equality and experience working to advance gender equality within organisations or movements.
