Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Maintain regular communication and coordination with partners’ focal points and support to develop project planning and its smooth operationalization.
∎ Through regular planned and ad-hoc field visits, monitor the implementation of the local partners’ activities in compliance with the project proposal.
∎ Prepare field visit reports highlighting partners’ achievements, challenges, accountability towards the targeted population, and compliance with the project proposal.
∎ Support the development of monitoring tools (including satisfaction surveys, pre- and post-tests, and any other relevant tools) to follow up on the progress of the implementation.
∎ Develop in-depth knowledge of the partner organization, including its profile, geographic reach and capacity, and its regular update.
∎ Keep track of all deliverables due from partners and make sure that they are received in time to keep in line with the project implementation plan
∎ Follow up on the financial implications of the partner periodically.
∎ Contribute to developing project-specific templates and tools for partners
∎ With guidance from the Project Manager, provide support to partners with assessments, budgeting, objective-setting, and planning of activities
∎ Ensure partner’s presence in different project-related workshops, trainings, seminars, and meetings arranged by HI and relevant stakeholders implementing activities.
∎ Contribute to the preparation of partner training plans for the designed period and accordingly ensure proper implementation by them.
∎ Ensure effective cooperation, coordination, and representation of the project with local stakeholders in working areas.
∎ Support the partner in building a good rapport with the local authority and stakeholders to implement the activity.
∎ Ensure to provide necessary guidance and technical assistance from HI to partners throughout project implementation.
∎ Ensure by partner the project-related compliance (such as staff recruitment/deployment, procurement, budget, admin, etc.) issues related to the partner’s end.
∎ Facilitate the flow of information from partners, both qualitative and quantitative.
∎ Make sure that the terms of the partnership laid down in the annexes to the MOU and the scope of partnerships (SOPs) are complied with.
∎ Ensure support and guidance to partners on the administrative procedures relevant to HR, logistics, and financial management in compliance with HI, Govt, and donor policies.
∎ Ensure the rolling out of safeguarding policies of HI through partners in practice.
∎ Ensure and review the report from partner required for HI, Govt., and donor.
∎ Contribute to project monitoring, specifically activity progress indicators and the expected outcomes of partners.
∎ Contribute and take part in monthly and quarterly project review meetings, and BFU meetings of partners.
∎ Contribute to project evaluations and ensure that project evaluation recommendations are followed by partners.
∎ Contribute to the setup and smooth running of accountability mechanisms for partners.
∎ Contribute to the project learning of the partner.
∎ In coordination with the MEAL officer, check partners’ reporting and triangulate project documentation to monitor project progress
∎ Ensure that the appropriate data collection and management tools are in place and are used correctly on the project for a partner, in line with global standards, in conjunction with the MEAL unit and Project Manager
∎ Ensure collection and compilation of all needed project-related data of partners in the relevant database.
∎ Contribute to the Programme’s emergency preparedness initiatives as a partner, and in an emergency, adapt his/her working arrangements to contribute to an effective humanitarian response from HI.
∎ HI is looking for a Senior Partnership Officer responsible for its various projects.Base Location: Ukhiya or Teknaf (Based on Management Decision). Line Manager: Area ManagerContract Duration: Starting as soon as possible to 31 August 2025Reporting to the Area Manager, the Senior Partnership Officer contributes to implementing the mandate and the 10-year strategy of Humanity & Inclusion in the country where s/he is based. The position contributes to the implementation of the project through an operational partner, ensuring the optimal quality and the project's impact through necessary coordination and cooperation at internal and external levels.
∎ Mission 1: Operational implementation
∎ Responsibility 1: Contribute to Implementation and operational monitoring of partner’s activities
