Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Water & Life Bangladesh (W&L Bangladesh) is a non-profit organisation established by Eau & Vie, a French NGO, that has been active in Bangladesh since 2010 to improve the living conditions of urban slum dwellers by implementing water networks, firefighting, hygiene promotion, sanitation, and solid waste management activities.
∎ W&L Bangladesh works in close association with the social enterprise Shobar Jonno Pani Ltd. (SJP), also established by Eau & Vie, which is specialized in safe water supply for low -income communities who do not have access to water, aiming at creating quality-controlled piped and metered water supply networks that are financially viable and adapted to the needs.
∎ Both W&L Bangladesh and SJP engaged in partnerships with the local communities, authorities, water operators, and other development stakeholders through two branches, one in Dhaka and the other one in Chattogram.
∎ TYPE: Permanent
∎ LOCATION: Based in Head Office, Gulshan 2, Dhaka.
∎ REPORTING TO: Partnership & Communication Manager
∎ COORDINATION WITH: Country Director, Finance Manager, Technical Advisor and Partnership & Communication department in the HQ-France and all SJP and W&L teams in branches and at the Head Office.
∎ This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the fundraising, partnership and communication strategies for the Bangladesh program under the supervision of the Partnership & Communication Manager.
∎ Participate in the management and development of international financial partnerships. (prospection and proposal writing on his/her portfolio and elaboration of partnership communication tools according to the needs).
∎ Conduct local partner outreach to secure funding opportunities (local companies, embassies…). Ensure the follow-up of local-based partnerships (admin work, organisation of field visits and reports writings).
∎ Monitor online platforms for calls for proposals and funding opportunities.
∎ Creation of communication tools to promote the organization to partners and institutions: leaflet, banners, flyers, t-shirts, etc.
∎ Develop a newsletter for the board members and the partners.
∎ Participate in the elaboration of the global and local communication strategy (new branding, social medias strategy, etc).
∎ Handle the communication activities (social medias, newsletters, annual report).
∎ If needed, represent the organisation on the occasion of external events.
∎ In charge of organising a local fundraising event in Dhaka and providing communication support for other events (inauguration of water network, etc).
∎ Responsible for photo coverage and archival, in coordination with the field team.
∎ Support of operational teams for communication tools’ design.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Salary: Not less than BDT 38,000 (depends on candidate's skills and experience)
