Job Responsibilities:
∎ Build and maintain good relationships with other FH Bangladesh staff, the suppliers where FH Bangladesh makes IT purchases, and FH Global IT staff;
∎ Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards;
∎ Initiates, coordinates, and ensures systems policies and procedures are implemented and enforced;
∎ Create and follow the IT annual operating plan;
∎ Review and maintain the network-based communications systems to ensure optimum working order;
∎ Review and maintain the local mail directory and keep mailing lists up to date;
∎ Maintain security for, and confidentiality access, to all documents, information, and databases that are sent through and stored on the computer system;
∎ Ensure the legality of all software and maintain all IT-related procurement records;
∎ Develop and maintain an up-to-date inventory of all FH offices and Information Technologies equipment;
∎ Research and purchase any necessary new Information Technologies equipment or programs, and Information Technologies supplies;
∎ Infrastructure security management
∎ Ensure the implementation of a server backup strategy for all devices;
∎ Ensure the administration of all computer equipment (installation, troubleshooting, and decommissioning);
∎ Manage the network (wired, wireless, internet, VPN) and other connectivity hardware;
∎ Facilitate the maintenance repair and/or replacement of inadequate or non-working Information Technologies equipment (this may involve travel to other offices);
∎ Assist and support FH Bangladesh staff in their use of Information Technologies, including the use of computers, the internet, networks, and printers. This includes working to solve Information Technologies problems;
∎ Update and maintain all Information Technologies equipment and ensure, on an ongoing basis, that all staff computers have adequate resources to be able to work efficiently, including reliable hardware, antivirus, business software, and other necessary programs;
∎ Ensure all support requests are communicated via appropriate support channels;
∎ Assist leaders to build their knowledge and ability with computers (MS Office, computer maintenance & anti-virus, etc.) with individualized attention and support;
∎ Train other staff in the use of Information Technologies, including the use of necessary computer programs and file types, virus prevention practices, and printer/internet/email usage. This training may be done both informally and formally;
∎ Pursue ongoing training in the form of seminars, conferences, online learning opportunities, and links with Global IT experts;
∎ Other duties as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 40 years
∎ Similar experience in reputed Local/International Development Organizations is a plus.

∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, and ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach, and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
∎ Proficiency in spoken and written Bengali and English.
∎ Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations.
∎ Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
∎ Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions.
