Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication, English, International Relations, Public Relations, or other related fields are preferred.
∎ A Master’s degree is a plus.
∎ Skills Required: Communication, Communication and collaboration, Policy Development, Public Relation, Report Writing

∎ 4 to 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Communication/ Public Relation/ Media, Media & Communication, policy advocacy
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Development Agency, NGO

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Be self-motivated to visit the field to collect stories and facts from program staff and develop them into narratives, to be stored in FH's story bank;
∎ Write, collect, translate and/or edit reports including project reports, meeting minutes, program documents, and evaluation documents as requested by the supervisor;
∎ Gather information from fields, programs, and finance and develop an annual report for every year;
∎ Develop a newsletter/magazine half yearly;
∎ Collect information, and inquiries from Affiliates and donors for program information and share with the Senior Manager- Program Quality;
∎ File reports, photos, and all related documents electronically and in a paper copy if needed;
∎ Maintain the reporting calendar and ensure communication deadlines are met.
∎ Collect and write compelling impact stories, updates, newsletters, success stories, case studies, blog posts, and tweets for an external audiences and share them with donors;
∎ Provide regular program narrative reports as requested by the supervisor;
∎ Provide communication-related support to grant projects as requested by the supervisor.
∎ Support to the Senior Manager- Program Quality in writing any type of narrative report, storing program statistical information, sorting information, and organizing the information by Area and/or Region, and providing reminders and follow-up with field staff about reporting deadlines;
∎ Support and facilitate the conduction of M&E activities in the different regions; provide timely, up-to-date, and accurate quantitative and qualitative data needed by the Senior Manager- Program Quality for program evaluation and learning.
∎ Provide technical assistance to staff to attain higher levels of understanding and ability regarding external reporting and communications;
∎ Develop and design simple reporting methods for staff to use, and;
∎ Conduct routine field visits to assist staff in overcoming communication obstacles.
∎ Prepare and handle logistics for short and long-term visitors (including a budget, itinerary, and orientation), in coordination with Business Department and Executive Secretary;
∎ Give translation support to the visitors and for internal use if needed;
∎ Provide all background information and documents including cultural, language and country context.
∎ Maintain and manage individual goals to ensure objectives are achieved;
∎ Pursue ongoing training in the form of seminars, conferences, and online learning opportunities, and link with global communications experts;
∎ Study, develop, use, and practice English, both verbal and written, and;
∎ Practice and maintain all FH policies and procedures and live out the organization's values.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years

∎ Excellent people skills including warmth and sensitivity, conversational, able to relate to and effectively communicate with people from different cultures (at various levels within the organization);

∎ Able to self-manage a diverse and dynamic set of responsibilities, proactively solve problems and / or suggest viable solutions while advancing goals and objectives;
∎ Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and / or GoToMeeting;
∎ Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
∎ Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach and mentor staff and volunteers;
∎ Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
∎ Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
∎ Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
