∎ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on Trading Buying House merchandising experience in Sweater, Woven, and Jersey items
∎ Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, costing, and production processes
∎ Excellent communication and negotiation skills with international buyers and vendors
∎ Proficient in Excel, order tracking software, and merchandising tools
∎ Ability to handle pressure, tight deadlines, and multiple orders
∎ Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Handle end-to-end merchandising for Sweater, Woven, and Jersey categories
∎ Lead product development, costing, and sampling with suppliers and factories
∎ Ensure timely order execution, shipment tracking, and quality assurance
∎ Collaborate with buyers and design teams to align products with market trends and brand requirements
∎ Monitor production timelines and proactively manage delays or challenges
∎ Analyze sales and order data to inform future product strategies
∎ Maintain strong communication with international buyers and vendors
∎ Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and order quantities with suppliers
∎ Ensure compliance with buyer requirements and production standards
∎ Supervise junior merchandisers and coordinate closely with internal teams
