Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Research fashion trends, fabrics, and market demands for Sweater and Woven/Jersey categories
∎ Create mood boards, concept stories, and seasonal color palettes
∎ Design and develop collections with a strong balance of creativity and commercial appeal
∎ Prepare detailed tech packs, including measurements, specs, trims, and construction details
∎ Work closely with buyers, merchandisers, and sample teams to ensure timely development
∎ Select yarns, fabrics, washes, and finishes based on market trends and buyer needs
∎ Review and approve samples, make corrections as needed
∎ Stay updated with global fashion movements and buyer requirements
∎ Attend fittings and provide technical guidance to ensure design integrity
∎ Collaborate with graphic designers (if applicable) for prints and artworks

∎ 3-7+ years of experience in fashion design with a focus on sweater, woven, and/or jersey categories
∎ Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field
∎ Strong sketching ability (manual or digital) and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop
∎ Sound knowledge of yarns, knit constructions, woven/jersey fabrics, trims, and garment details
∎ Experience in creating detailed tech packs for sampling and production
∎ Creative, organized, and strong in time management
∎ Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
