Job Context:

AREA Architects & Interior is looking for a technically skilled Project Engineer / Site Engineer – Interior Fit-Out & Construction to supervise and execute interior fit-out and construction projects from mobilization to handover. The role is responsible for ensuring site execution matches approved architectural, structural, interior, and MEP drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project timelines.

 The incumbent will lead day-to-day site operations, coordinate with Architects, Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, and Suppliers, and monitor workmanship, materials, manpower, progress, quality, safety, and cost. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of fit-out and construction work — civil, furniture, flooring, ceiling, partition, carpentry, painting, MEP, doors/windows, and finishing.

 Key responsibilities include site measurement, shop drawing and material sample verification, quantity planning, contractor bill verification, progress reporting, and defect resolution — ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standard.

 Responsibilities:

•  Supervise and execute interior fit-out and construction projects from mobilization through completion as per approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and client requirements.
• Review and interpret architectural, structural, interior, MEP drawings, BOQ, work schedules, and material requirements for accurate site execution.
• Prepare daily work plans, monitor project progress, workforce, and workflow, and ensure timely project completion.
• Supervise civil, structural, architectural, interior, furniture, flooring, ceiling, partition, plastering, tiling, carpentry, painting, lighting, MEP, doors/windows, and finishing works.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control of materials and workmanship and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and required standards.
• Ensure proper material planning, quantity verification, requisition, delivery, storage, utilization, and wastage control at site.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Architects, Engineers, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Site Teams to resolve technical, execution, and coordination issues.
• Review and verify shop drawings, material samples, site measurements, completed quantities, and contractor works before approval or execution.
• Monitor project costs, material consumption, work progress, and budget utilization and support effective cost control.
• Verify contractor and supplier bills against approved BOQs, measurements, work orders, and completed works.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, BNBC, quality standards, project specifications, and company requirements, including regular safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays, defects, and technical problems, maintain project records, and submit regular daily/weekly progress reports to management.
