Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all merchandising activities. Coordinate across all divisions, assist the concerns in planing, sourcing and executing businesses. Ensure smooth execution of Apparel development & bulk objectives as well as explore new business opportunities & source base for the company.
∎ Research on market to maintain up-to-date information of latest development in the country for fabric, trims, garment manufacturing and competitors' activities.
∎ Provide direction to all levels of merchandise team members in order to achieve optimum goals of the company. Ensure effective and healthy team structure in place.
∎ Monitor and control of all orders to ensure all problems or potential problems are alerted to concerned merchandisers in order to solve it timely without delay.
∎ Update Country Director and team members about the market condition. Work closely with Country Manager on urgent issues for immediate resolution. Handle all inquiries promptly and efficiently.
∎ Upon receipt of price quotes from concerned merchandiser supervisor/merchandiser review the cost, rework on cost when required. Work with country manager, Production Team and QA team to make placement decision.
∎ Work on product development and create sourcing opportunities that are in line with the branch sourcing directions.
∎ Work on training program for team members to motivate and to achieve better performance.
∎ Explore new resources for existing and new products for replacement resources for poor performers, new business inquiry, better services and better prices.
∎ To study present procedure and try to simplify the same for both organizational & makers so that each party can execute and execute orders with minimum effort subject to approval of top management / customer.

∎ Enforce the team's disciplines and provide on job training to upgrade team members' skill sets.
