Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing and implementing a comprehensive internal audit strategy aligned with the organization's objectives, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements. This includes setting audit priorities, defining audit plans, and establishing appropriate methodologies and standards.
∎ Identifying and evaluating the organization's key risks and designing appropriate audit programs to address those risks. This involves conducting risk assessments, reviewing control frameworks, and ensuring that appropriate controls are in place to mitigate identified risks.
∎ Carry out risk-based internal audits in different locations i.e. retail branches, warehouses, Distributors points & factories to ensure the company meets its financial, operational, and compliance objectives.
∎ Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practices.
∎ Submit timely audit reports in accordance with internal audit standards and local & international best practices
∎ Prepare monthly exposure statements and quarterly audit summaries.
∎ Independently lead other engagements in the assigned area as per requirements
∎ Cooperate and assist with the corporate audit team
∎ Play an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practices
∎ Maintain code of ethics and code of conduct properly during engagement
∎ Attend annual inventory counting, disposal program, Verification of all types of bills, special investigation, etc.
∎ Active participation in the inquiry committee designed by management
