(a sister concern of Mahbub Group of Industries) is looking for experienced & dynamic person for the position of Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager (Marketing & Sales- Imported Soft Drinks & Carbonate Drinks) in its Marketing & Sales Department. A Senior Manager or Assistant General Manager (AGM) in Marketing & Sales for Imported Soft Carbonate Drinks is a high-level leadership role responsible for the end-to-end commercial success of international beverage brands in a local or regional market. This position bridges the gap between global brand standards and local market execution to drive volume, revenue, and brand equity.
The incumbent`s duties & responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Work closely with Dept. Head in implementation of sales forecasts & strategies in the assigned area.
Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies tailored for imported premium or mass-market carbonated beverages.
Conducting market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and trends, and using this information to develop marketing & sales plans that meet those needs.
Establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Developing and managing the marketing & sales budget, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently.
Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities, and making recommendations for improvements and changes to the sales & marketing strategy.
Visit market places, search new business opportunities and recommend appointment of new Distributors in uncovered areas.
Coordinating with other departments, such as production and quality control, to ensure that products meet customer needs and expectations.
Providing leadership and direction to the marketing & sales team, ensuring that they are motivated, engaged, and productive.
Skill in costing, marketing planning, and having technical knowledge of products.
Monitor activities and motivate Team Members to ensure productivity; thus, achievement of Sales target.
Demand forecast and ensure stock inventory of Distributors` warehouses, on a regular basis.
Ensure close monitoring of distributor`s business transactions on a day-to-day basis and liaison with other stakeholders for achieving the sales target.
Ensure documentation of work (at all phases) in compliance with company policy & procedures.
Applicant should have experience in handling large sales & marketing atmospheres in the Beverage (especially Soft Drinks) industry. This includes managing relationships with stakeholders, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
Applicant should have strong leadership skills to manage a team of marketing & sales professionals.
Applicant should have strong networking skills to build relationships with new stakeholders in the similar products company as well as FMCG industry.
Conduct deep market analysis to identify consumer trends, competitor moves, and potential gaps for product portfolio optimization.
Ensure all local marketing activities align with international brand governance and ethical guidelines.
Any other responsibilities assigned by the management time to time.
