Additional Requirements:

  • Analytical skill on Supply Chain Planning, Strategy and Operation.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Coordinate and monitor the entire distribution planning team to ensure seamless operations.

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with production, supply chain, finance, and sales teams to align and execute strategic distribution initiatives.

  • Define, track, and review key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, fill rate, and cost per ton to evaluate distribution efficiency.

  • Oversee major transport contracts, request-for-proposals (RFPs), and vendor performance reviews to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

  • Drive third-party vendor development and relationship management to strengthen logistics partnerships.

  • Build, mentor, and retain leadership talent within the distribution team, while driving continuous skill development and succession planning.

  • Set annual and quarterly distribution targets and budgets; monitor financial performance through cost-benefit analysis.

  • Develop, implement, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and compliance guidelines for distribution activities.

  • Manage risks and establish recovery plans for stock-out situations, logistics disruptions, or force majeure events to minimize business impact.

  • Present regular logistics and distribution updates, reports, and recommendations to senior management and higher authorities.

  • Conduct audits, implement continuous improvement initiatives, and identify cost-reduction opportunities while enhancing service quality.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity in day-to-day tasks that will have been assigned by the reporting manager/supervisor based on job scope.
