Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1: Participate in the definition and implementation of the programme’s HR processes
∎ •Implementation of the recruitment process for new/vacant positions in conjunction with the relevant line manager. Advertising the vacancy and participating in the interview potential candidates. Making sure the process is orderly and on time.
∎ •Ensures that recruitment and hiring procedures are respected: validated ensures that all recruitment and selection tools are properly used by the teams.
∎ •Conducting references both verbally and written.
∎ •Maintains and updates the recruitment and selection tracking information system
∎ •Updates the HR Manager about Employees’ contract’s expiry dates and seeks action whether they are to be extended or not.
∎ Objective 2: Ensure national staff administrative management
∎ •Supports and Co-ordinates with Administration Office in Dhaka on any required visas and travel ar-rangements for international, nationals and any HI visitors coming to the field.
∎ •Receives all Medical reimbursement forms from Coxs’ Bazaar team members and ensures all support-ive documents are attached.
∎ •Responsible for employee ID card & business card for all site in Cox’s Bazar
∎ •Supports in scanning, and sending all HR related documents to Dhaka eg (travel, contract exten-sions, holiday requests etc
∎ Objective 3: Support on HR Information Management
∎ •Maintain documentation according to HI procedures both manually and electronically. This may include staff leave plans, sickness, other absences, training records, and other benefits, taxes (CV, Job de-scription, all other relevant documents such as warning letter, recommendation, resignation letter, etc)
∎ •Updates the Human Resource Information System with new hire information.
∎ •Ensures all HR staff files are archived according to HI policy and any donor requirements.
∎ Objective 4: Supervisory Oversight
∎ •Supervises the cleaning/cooking team in Cox Bazar office and all guests houses in Coxs’ Bazaar
∎ •Ensures cleaning schedules are developed and followed by the team
∎ •Monitors & maintains schedules of work of cook and cleaners
∎ •Monitors cleanliness and hygiene of the office
∎ •Ensures that all guest houses are fully equipped and are in a habitable state.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ •At least 3 years' experience in human resource management in reputed non-governmental organization in simi-lar role
∎ •Experience of working effectively with civil society, Government, I/NGOs;
∎ •Stress management techniques;
∎ •Excellent communications skills both in Bangla and English
∎ •Advanced computer literacy are essential requirement
∎ •Ability to work in an inter cultural environment
