Responsibilities & Context:
Position Purpose
To drive shop sales and rental revenue for Jamuna Builders Limited by planning and executing effective sales, leasing and marketing strategies. The position focuses on maximizing occupancy, increasing footfall, promoting retail brands, organizing events and maintaining strong relationships with shop owners, tenants and corporate clients in line with the Bangladesh retail and real estate market dynamics.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Plan, execute and achieve shop sales and rental targets for Jamuna Future Park.
• Handle end-to-end shop sales and leasing activities including client sourcing, negotiation, documentation and handover.
• Maintain updated records of available shops, occupancy status, rental rates and sales performance.
• Coordinate with existing and prospective tenants to ensure timely rent collection, renewal and compliance with lease terms.
• Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to enhance shop sales.
• Plan, organize and coordinate different types of promotional events, campaigns, exhibitions, seasonal programs and brand activations.
• Liaise with local and international brands, retailers, corporate clients and brokers for shop leasing and joint promotions.
• Conduct market research on retail trends, competitor malls, rental benchmarks and customer behavior in Bangladesh.
• Prepare sales proposals, presentations, leasing offers and marketing plans.
• Coordinate with operations, facility management, finance and legal teams to ensure smooth leasing and shop operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, lease agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare periodic sales, leasing, occupancy and marketing performance reports.
Experience
• Minimum 5–7 years of practical experience in sales, marketing or leasing, preferably in shopping malls, commercial real estate or large retail projects.
• Proven experience in shop sales, shop rent negotiation, tenant management, and event-based promotions within the Bangladesh market.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related discipline (MBA Preferred).
• Strong knowledge of shop sales, leasing practices, rental structures and retail marketing strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on experience in organizing events, promotions and brand activations.
• Strong understanding of the Bangladesh retail and commercial property market.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
