Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Strong knowledge of Bangladesh VAT and tax laws, including the Income Tax.
∎ Work with input tax credit, Turnover Tax, withholding tax, Retailer level VAT &VDS, AIT, CD and SD.
∎ Prepare VAT registers, Mushak: 6.1, 6.3, 6.2, 6.5, 6.6, VAT & Tax Challan & VAT return report. Experience with e-filing and VAT online systems as per NBR requirements
∎ Prepare & submit Tax/VAT return as required by the Tax/VAT Law.
∎ Oversee and manage all aspects of the company's VAT compliance and reporting, ensuring timely return submission. Monitor changes in VAT laws and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments for compliance.
∎ Prepare, analyze, and interpret the company's financial statements, developing and maintaining financial accounting systems for taxation.
∎ Establish internal control systems where necessary. Review all financial records, systems, and control processes of the company as per accounting standards.

∎ Liaison with VAT circle office others government and non-government /Offices as and when required. Being able to handle all types of VAT-related hearing individually.
∎ Finalize and reconcile Creditors and Debtors ledgers; ensure proper deduction and timely deposit of Withholding VAT and Tax into the Government revenue account.
