Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Business Administration (MBA)
∎ Masters / MBA in Accounting and Finance / CA(CC)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At most 6 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Understanding and implementing all the legal provisions of VAT
∎ Well conversant with Tax, VAT and Customs Law.
∎ Responsible for monthly VAT return preparation, submission (Online & offline) and hearing and assessment finalization VAT authority.
∎ Preparation of VAT books and registers/ VAT software operation for VAT documentation.
∎ Responsible for VAT product costing, preparation of product price declaration submission and attend to hearing before the VAT authority for approval.
∎ Calculation and deduction of Tax and VAT at source and report thereon and prepare & submit Tax and VAT Challan also issue of certificate thereon and SAP posting related to VAT & Tax matters
∎ VAT reconciliation between VAT Account record and accounting systems
∎ Ensure timely & deposit of VAT to the VAT Return and input VAT credit of all business units through proper treasury challan & establish control mechanism across the group so that no surprise arises in course of time.
∎ VAT audit e.g. Divisional Audit, AG Audit and External and VAT compliance Audit.
∎ Ensure proper documentation, control and maintain necessary records with respect to income tax-related issues, TDS, AIT, CIT & other hearing-related documents
∎ Liaison and closely work with Consultants, VAT Authorities, Concerned Govt. Authorities Company's other department & depo and solve the barriers relate to Company VAT issues.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Immediate joining as soon as possible.
∎ Working under Central VAT System
∎ Minimum 5/6 Years' experience in Value added Tax (VAT)
∎ Experience on SAP / other VAT software will be preferable.
∎ Accounts, Computer skill, Fluent in Bangla and English, MS Word/MS Excel.
∎ Candidate currently working at Chittagong Division will be given high preference.
