Role Summary

• The Senior Executive – IT will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the bank’s technology infrastructure and applications. The role involves ensuring high system availability, information security compliance, and operational efficiency in line with the bank’s Information Security Policy and Standards and Bangladesh Bank guidelines.

• Entry Level Position

Key Responsibilities

1. IT Operations & Infrastructure

• Ensure smooth operation of Core Banking System (CBS), digital platforms, and related applications.

• Manage day-to-day IT operations including servers, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint systems.

• Coordinate with vendors and Head Office IT for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee data backup, restoration, and disaster recovery (DR) readiness.

2. User & Access Management

• Create, manage, enforce and review user access rights in Active Directory, CBS, and other systems.

• Maintain logs and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

3. Information Security & Compliance

• Implement and monitor DLP (Data Loss Prevention) controls and IT security standards.

• Report and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and policy violations.

• Support internal and external IT audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.

• Conduct periodic security awareness training for staff.

4. Application & Digital Services Support

• Support implementation of digital banking services.

• Participate in system testing, integration, and change management processes.

• Assist business units in automation initiatives and process optimization.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, incidents, and updates.

• Prepare periodic MIS reports on IT performance, downtime, and support tickets.

• Maintain IT asset inventory and software license compliance.
