∎ minimum HSC
Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for all the cutting and preparation phases necessary to produce a costume in the allotted time;
∎ Responsible for cutting production and ensuring optimum utilization of man, machine, and material in the cutting section;
∎ Assist Cutting Head to increase the productivity and reduce labor cost through updating the information i.e. problem faced on daily basis and giving target to the workers with the help of in-charge and supervisor;
∎ Apply the cutting procedures and standards stated in the cutting agreement;
∎ Plan to remain not more than 1% wastage at the cutting stage;
∎ Ensure the necessary operation as required by the buyers;
∎ Evaluate staff performance, disciplinary matters, training needs, and their career development plans;
∎ Lead safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace to ensure zero NC;
∎ Comply with a clean desk policy in place to increase productivity and stay organized
∎ Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site;
∎ Should have basic knowledge of IE activities in the cutting section;
∎ Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ Must be proficient in English and Bengali writing, reading & speaking;
∎ Fabric knowledge, technical knowledge (finishing, cutting, sewing, printing, embroidery);
∎ Especially Experience Buyer Target USA, Uniqlo & Zara;
∎ In-depth knowledge and experience of the cutting process;
∎ Good leadership and motivation skills;
∎ Up-to-date knowledge and skills on garments manufacturing;
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge on Auto CAD Marker, Auto Cutting & Auto Spreading in computer handling;
∎ Ability to work for a long duration in the factory premises on day to day basis;
Salary: Negotiable
