Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ACI Motors is one of the most growing subsidiaries of ACI Limited. We have Agricultural Machinery, Infrastructural Development Machinery, Automobiles (Yamaha & Foton) & other machinery in our product line.
∎ We have a strong market position in motorcycle unit creating a positive impact in young minds with its world-class brand `Yamaha`. Yamaha has a strong market position in 150cc market with its premium product lines; i.e. R15, MT15, Fazer, FZS FI. Yamaha also provides alternative options to its customers with Saluto (125 cc), Ray-ZR Street Rally (Scooter).

∎ Regular monitoring of all compliance status to relevant laws of the country and international standards.
∎ Develop and implement company policies and regulations.
∎ Manage the business operations relating to compliance including policies, investments, and procedures.
∎ Design and monitor control systems to deal with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
∎ Design & execute the control systems and recommend effective improvements in terms of Compliance issues.
∎ Maintain & update all licenses- Factory License, Fire License, Environment License, Trade license etc.
∎ Co-ordinate and liaison with Govt. agencies and different stakeholders in regular basis.
∎ Address issues relating to the work of Risk, Legal and Compliance and other control related activities.
∎ Ensure proper & on time imports of Raw materials & other items maintaining company policies & strategies, with proper specification and quality parameters.
∎ Actively participate and coordinate activities with our stakeholders like as- Customs, NBR, BIDA, City Corporation etc. to ensure alignment and mutual interests.
∎ Co-ordinate with Govt. Officials, C&F Agents, Banks, Freight Forwarders, Transport for Import purpose etc.
∎ Ensure custom handling & documentation.
∎ Custom clearing & forwarding, negotiate with authority and finalize, Customs/Bank/Export /LC/Freight Forwarding/ C&F/ Supply Chain etc. through Commercial Department of the Group.
∎ Act as the primary point of contact with regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and resolution of regulatory matters.
∎ Represent the company in regulatory meetings and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities.
∎ Keep the management up-to-date with all relevant changes in VAT/Tax regulations and their potential impact on the organization
∎ Serve as the primary subject matter expert on VAT
∎ Value Added Tax (VAT) regulations, staying updated on the latest changes and its impact.
∎ Any other task assigned by the management.
