Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are hiring a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager (Sales & Marketing) for Textile Machinery Business. The position is responsible for driving sales growth, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships within Bangladesh’s textile industry.

The role requires a dynamic and result-oriented professional with sound marketing acumen and technical understanding of textile machinery to achieve business targets and support the company’s long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the textile machinery sector.

  • Visit existing and potential customers regularly to understand their requirements and propose suitable machinery solutions.

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence reports to management.

  • Ensure timely submission of quotations, technical proposals, and tender documents.

  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with textile mill owners, technical managers, and purchase decision-makers.

  • Ensure prompt response to customer queries and maintain high service standards.

  • Follow up with clients for order confirmation, and after-sales feedback.

  • Coordinate with service engineers to ensure smooth machine installation and commissioning.

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitors’ activities.

  • Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.

  • Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional events to enhance brand visibility.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, service, logistics, admin and accounts) to ensure smooth order execution.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.

  • Support marketing activities such as product demonstrations, seminars, and customer presentations.

  • Maintain updated records of customers, leads, and follow-up activities in CRM or assigned databases.

  • Develop sound technical understanding of textile machinery, parts, and accessories.

  • Assist customers in selecting suitable machinery based on their production requirements.

  • Provide feedback to product and service teams on customer requirements and product performance.

Educational Requirements:

  • MBA in Marketing from a reputed or recognized university.

  • B.Sc. in Electrical / Mechanical / Textile Engineering will be considered an added advantage.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in textile machinery, industrial equipment, or B2B engineering product sales.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a technical or machinery-related industry.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age: 30 - 35 years

  • Strong knowledge of machinery, mechanical parts, and industrial operations.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Bengali and English.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites within Bangladesh.

  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary Range: BDT. 50,000 – 75,000 (Negotiable based on experience and qualification).
