Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Professional Degree (CA, Partly Qualified), previous experience in relevant filed.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budget analysis, or investment evaluation.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis and make informed recommendations.
Proficient in using financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial information effectively.
Proactively identify process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the financial analysis and reporting functions.
Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to investments and budget control.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Responsibilities & Context: Payroll Management
- Oversee the accurate calculation and timely disbursement of employees salaries, bonuses, and allowances.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and organizational policies related to payroll.
- Maintain and update payroll records for auditing and reporting purposes.
Daily Expense Supervision
- Monitor and approve daily operational expenses.
- Ensure all expense transactions are properly documented and supported by valid receipts.
- Reconcile petty cash balances on a weekly basis.
Vendor and Supplier Payments
- Manage the processing of vendor and supplier payments within agreed timelines.
- Verify purchase invoices and ensure they comply with procurement policies.
- Address and resolve payment disputes with vendors.
VAT and Tax Compliance
- Oversee the accurate calculation, recording, and submission of VAT and tax returns.
- Ensure adherence to Bangladeshi tax laws and VAT regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities during audits or inspections.
Financial Record Maintenance
- Maintain accurate and updated financial records for all transactions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, vendor accounts, and receivables.
- Ensure timely closure of accounts at the end of each financial period.
- Auditing Support
- Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
- Address audit queries and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Generate reports on cash flow, profitability, and expense tracking for management review.
- Provide variance analysis, aging report and recommendations for cost control.
