Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a `Senior Engineer - Web` who will bring Web related expertise to the Engineering Team at the organization. You will create beautiful and responsive web for our internal and external end-users so that they have a seamless and pleasant experience
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review and groom stories, internalize functionality and identify impact areas in the web
∎ Translate user stories into quality implementations
∎ Collaborate with other team members to ensure functional, end-to-end implementation
∎ Use web technologies (HTML5, CSS, Flutter, JavaScript, Angular, React/React-Native etc.) to implement the front-end
∎ Research solutions for scaling and improving performance
∎ Work with the rest of the engineering team to identify, troubleshoot and fix bugs
∎ Ensure testable UI implementation
∎ Work with engineering and support to triage inbound bug reports and fix those
∎ Constantly learn about new front-end and related technologies, recommend innovative applications of technologies or ideas
∎ implement Proofs of Concepts to demonstrate new technology or new approach
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good understanding of the development processes (Agile)
∎ Excellent communication skills and being able to work independently or in a full team
∎ Excellent knowledge and skill in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, React and related technologies
∎ Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages (e.g. Java/JQuery, Javascript, Python/Jython, Ruby, Groovy, C++/C#, .Net, VBScript, SQL, etc)
∎ Exposure to development or test automation tools/frameworks (e.g. Cucumber/Gherkin, Espresso, Selenium Grid, Junit, SOAP-UI, Eclipse, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, Visual Studio, JIRA, etc
∎ Exposure to platforms/OS/Servers (e.g. Windows Server, Linux/Unix, J2EE, IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etcÖ)
∎ Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL is a strong plus
∎ Experience with Flutter is a strong plus
∎ B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or similar applied technical field or equivalent experience
∎ 5+ years of experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Angular, React, Flutter etc.
∎ Must have a keen eye to recognize potential problem areas
∎ Methodical and detail oriented, with solid analytical skills and problem solving ability
∎ Have dedication to quality and a positive, collaborative attitude and approach to problem-solving
∎ Self-motivated; able to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them, without external direction
