Job Responsibilities:
∎ As a study abroad counsellor, your role would be to gather and organize information on various study abroad programmes, universities, and countries.
∎ You should keep track of admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, visa regulations, and other relevant details, and meet with students one-on-one to give personalized guidance and advice.
∎ You'll assist students in identifying their academic and personal goals, evaluating study abroad options, and selecting the most appropriate programme or destination based on their knowledge and understanding of different study abroad programmes.
∎ To ensure their applications are completed by the deadline, you'll guide them through the application process, including helping them writing personal statements or essays, and gathering necessary documents.
∎ To increase application success rates you will provide them with information about pre-CAS interviews, visa process and other formalities.
∎ To help students make the most of their study abroad experience, you'll organize pre-departure briefings and workshops on cultural adjustment, academic expectations, travel logistics, and safety precautions.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A minimum of two years of experience in immigration and/or study abroad consultancy
∎ A good understanding of Bangladesh's education system and the overseas higher education system (preferably the UK/Australia)
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla. Good command of English with a test score will be a bonus
∎ Excellent time management skills and ability to work with deadlines
∎ Ability to work in a team as well as independently
∎ Candidates with IELTS/TOEFL scores will be given priority.
∎ Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
∎ Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 15000 - 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Performance bonus
Salary Review: Yearly
8 days paid casual leave in addition to mandatory public holidays.
Target-based monthly bonus for all members.
Other bonuses.
