Educational Requirements:
∎ MBA in Marketing / Finance or equivalent from a reputable university with good academic background.

Job Context:
∎ A financial institution is desirous of appointing Senior Corporate Banker (SCB).
∎ SCB will be responsible for business growth and revenue targets of the company. Oversee, supervise, monitor, control and coordinate efforts of Corporate Finance/Investment, Treasury & Capital Markets, Private Equity and business-related activities to ensure meeting of business growth and profitability targets of the Company. Formulate and implement strategy and growth plans for business, to position the company as lead player and provide support in achieving its long-term objectives. Develop a strong and quality revenue generating portfolio of fee and fund-based business, which fits into the company`s overall strategy and positions the company as a lead market player. Develop long term relationships with credit worthy clients through a team of professional individuals. Review organization structure and upgrade people quality, enhance and maintain productivity of staff through motivation and team work. Practice zero tolerance for BB, internal and external audit exceptions.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and implement Finance/ Investment business strategy and ensure successful alignment with the overall strategy of the company.
∎ Supervision and development of a portfolio of credit worthy clients with potential to generate sizeable income by catering to their specialized needs.
∎ Ensure long-term and short-term funding requirements for doing uninterrupted business.
∎ Ensure development and maintenance of a diversified investment portfolio with targeted returns.
∎ Development and providing guidance to team as appropriate.
∎ Formulate and monitor budgets of business segments for their performance.
∎ Ensure that revenue targets of the company in terms of quantity and quality.
∎ Establish systems and procedures for continuous improvement in service quality.
∎ Develop and implement plans for remedial action in case of deviation from budget.
∎ Inculcate a service culture in Finance/ Investment business to focus on customer intimacy and operational excellence as key drives for growth.
∎ Ensure the application of change management principles in order to minimize the internal and external resistance to change.
∎ Review organization structure and determine HR requirement in line with changing business need and automation.
∎ Identify training and development needs of the team and ensure ongoing capability development.
∎ Ensure that teams meet individual targets of revenue and business growth through coordination and team work.
∎ Motivate staff through leadership, congenial work environment and problem solving.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 10 - 15 years of broad-based experience preferably in the investment/corporate banking/corporate finance sector at a senior level EVP or above.
