Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Finance / Accounting / Economics from a UGC-approved university.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be preferred.
Professional certification in Islamic Banking (e.g., CSAA, CIPA, Islamic Banking Diploma) will be an added advantage.
No third division/class or equivalent CGPA is allowed at any stage of the academic career.
Experience in Corporate or Commercial Banking with exposure to Islamic Banking operations.
Strong understanding of Islamic banking principles and Shariah-compliant financing structures.
Corporate credit analysis capability and financial statement interpretation skills.
Knowledge of Bangladesh Bank regulations and Islamic banking guidelines.
Strong relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage corporate client portfolios and identify business opportunities.
Strong documentation, presentation, and reporting capability.
Risk awareness and problem-solving ability.
The role will manage and grow a portfolio of corporate clients under Islamic Banking by providing Shariah-compliant financing solutions, maintaining strong corporate relationships, ensuring portfolio quality, and supporting sustainable business growth in line with regulatory and Shariah requirements.
Manage and expand relationships with assigned corporate clients under Islamic Banking.
Identify new business opportunities and promote Islamic funded and non-funded banking products.
Act as the primary point of contact for corporate clients for Islamic banking services.
Maintain relationships with senior management and key decision-makers of corporate clients.
Ensure high service standards and timely resolution of client queries.
Conduct financial analysis, industry assessment, and risk evaluation of corporate clients.
Prepare credit proposals and documentation in line with Islamic banking policies.
Coordinate with Credit Risk Management, Shariah Secretariat, and Compliance teams.
Support timely sanction, renewal, and restructuring of facilities where required.
Ensure proper execution of Shariah contracts, offer & acceptance documentation, and security documentation.
Ensure disbursements comply with Shariah principles and regulatory requirements.
Maintain compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and the bank’s Islamic Banking policies.
Monitor portfolio performance, account utilization, and early warning indicators.
Ensure timely recovery, profit realization, and adjustment of facilities.
Follow up on overdue payments and coordinate remedial actions when required.
Handle Islamic trade and non-funded facilities including LC, Kafalah (Bank Guarantee), and Shipping Guarantee.
Ensure proper margin, security, and risk mitigation measures for contingent liabilities.
Liaise with Operations, Trade Finance, Legal, and Finance teams for smooth execution.
Maintain accurate MIS, portfolio reporting, and regulatory submissions.
Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.
