Educational Requirements:
∎ A Master's degree in Education / Project Management / Social Sciences
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Leading Education and related functions and be the technical resource for entire programme in Bangladesh in line with SF's intervention lines
∎ Responsible for managing education components of the programme implemented by partner organizations as well as act as a technical advisor for education programme
∎ Establish and promote functional linkages and networks at national and regional level on Education areas
∎ Contribute to develop country programme in line with SF global priorities and support developing relevant modules, guidelines and curriculum for Education and Adolescent Empowerment programmes.
∎ Be responsible for national level networking, alliance building with Government and other key stakeholders
∎ Contribute towards effective organizational learning and innovation
∎ Take part in planning and executing required assessments and evaluations as well as contribute towards assessment of programme effectiveness and Value for Money
∎ Contribute to prepare periodical reports, presentation or any other information required
∎ Support finance team in reviewing monthly financial expenses and Receipt and Payment prepared by the partner
∎ Contribute towards fundraising & drafting new proposals
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum of 5 years' experience in Middle Management position. Work experience in Education, Adolescents Empowerment or related position in an International NGO is a requirement
∎ Excellent Skills in facilitation, programme progress and budget tracking in multi-donor funded programmes
∎ Good understanding of results-based management, including log-frames.
∎ Excellent knowledge in MS office and related application
∎ Excellent written & verbal communication skills, in English and Bangladesh Language and good presentation skills required
∎ Strong ability to multi-task, meeting deadlines while coping with a broad range of programmatic and technical demands
∎ Ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-cultural environment
∎ Strong team player, proactive and with high moral standards
∎ Proven track record of managing education / adolescents empowerment programmes implemented by partner organizations will be an added advantage
∎ Proven track record of playing a key role in capacitating partners in RBM will be an added advantage
∎ The candidate is expected to work in line with SF values
