• Strong practical knowledge of residential and commercial building construction.
• Strong understanding of RCC construction and finishing works.
• Ability to independently manage construction projects with minimum supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Architectural and Structural Drawings.
• Good understanding of Plumbing, Sanitary, Electrical, and other relevant MEP drawings and coordination.
• Strong skills in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, estimation, rate analysis, and material planning.
• Ability to calculate material requirements directly from project drawings.
• Experience in contractor measurement, bill verification, and work certification.
• Good understanding of project cost control and budget management.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, market prices, suppliers, and cost-effective alternatives.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and contractor management skills.
• Ability to professionally communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and management.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and project ownership.
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems rather than shifting responsibility to others.
• Good command of Bengali and working proficiency in English.

• Independently plan, coordinate, supervise, and execute assigned construction projects from commencement to completion.

• Prepare project work plans, schedules, progress monitoring reports, and execution strategies.

• Thoroughly understand and interpret Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Sanitary, Electrical, and other relevant construction drawings.

• Identify drawing inconsistencies, coordination issues, missing information, and potential construction problems and take necessary corrective action.

• Prepare and modify basic drawings and technical details using AutoCAD when required.

• Independently prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, material requirements, and preliminary construction cost estimates from project drawings.

• Prepare accurate material requisitions based on drawings, work progress, and project requirements while minimizing wastage and unnecessary procurement.

• Supervise RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing, and other civil construction works.

• Ensure construction quality, materials, workmanship, and execution are maintained according to approved drawings and project requirements.

• Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, clients, and internal project teams.

• Monitor contractor performance, work progress, measurements, bills, and assigned deliverables.

• Verify work quantities, measurements, contractor bills, and material requirements.

• Identify project delays, technical issues, cost overruns, and site-related problems and provide practical solutions.

• Monitor project costs and identify cost-effective construction methods and material alternatives without compromising quality or safety.

• Maintain awareness of construction material market rates and assist in comparing supplier and contractor quotations.

• Assist in preliminary project feasibility analysis, including land development potential, FAR-based building area estimation, preliminary construction cost, and development cost assessment.

• Provide technical input regarding residential and commercial project development.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports to management.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and project stakeholders.

• Take ownership, demonstrate initiative, and focus on solving problems rather than shifting responsibility.

• Perform any other relevant responsibilities assigned by the management.
