Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the consistency of various preparations within the cold kitchen to ensure quality product and adherence to standard recipes.
∎ Ensure consistency and quality in cold kitchen preparations by adhering to standard recipes and guidelines.
∎ Prepare cold dishes, including salads, appetizers, and soups, according to the customer demand/Executive Chef's standards.
∎ Regularly update the menu with seasonal ingredients and current trends.
∎ Maintain proper inventory levels and keep the work area clean and compliant with health regulations.
∎ Use only high-quality food items and control portion sizes to maintain product quality.
∎ Delegate tasks and assist with the preparation of cold food items and daily requisitions.
∎ Label and date products for proper storage and sanitation.
∎ Communicate effectively with other chefs and staff to address guest needs and fulfill service requirements.
∎ Collaborate with the others Chef on menu development and banquet planning.
∎ Prepares daily requisitions for supplies and food items for production.
∎ Manage food costs, labor, and quality, while overseeing budgets, inventories, and staff training.
∎ We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Chef to lead our cold kitchen operations. As the Senior Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative and high-quality cold dishes, including salads, cold appetizers, and chilled soups. You will oversee the preparation, presentation, and service of cold menu items, ensuring consistency, quality, and a memorable dining experience for our guests.
