∎ Good understanding on integrated programs (Food Security/Livelihood, Health, WASH) and incorporation of cross-cutting issues (Gender, DRR, Protection) Highly developed writing skills (e.g. at level for producing an assessment report or proposal) and strong financial management skills (experience of working within budget constraints) and verbal communication skills Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Demonstrated leadership, people management, coaching, mentoring, and team building skills. Strong problem identification, analytical and solving skills. Strong competency in proposal & report writing, monitoring and budgeting skills.
∎ Experience working with communities and local governments, INGOs, donors and other key internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ This position will provide both technical and management support to implement the Health, Nutrition and WASH sector programmes in the World Vision’s operations in both Camps and Host community and ensure projects deliverables on time, on budget with quality. S/he will also maintain close liaison with donor/s, Government and other implementing partners as well as in sectors and sub-sectors level for smooth implementation and ensure representations, expand leadership and increase influences. Provides guidance to field staff for quality HNW programming implementation.
∎ Determines HNW capacity gaps and develop capacity building plan. Seeks opportunities for HNW implementation research and communicates learning from programming. Maps donors, understands their technical expectations, pre-positions for grants bids and leads the design and development of proposals. Strong and regular external engagement with other stakeholders. Maintains situation awareness of potential public health emergencies and ensures readiness for sector response.
∎ Provide Technical leadership for Health, Nutrition and WASH interventions including technical backstopping and proper implementation of sectoral programs.
∎ Understand relevant context and bring experience in conducting/facilitating relevant sectoral assessments, gathering sectoral secondary and updated information & publications capacity building initiatives, reviews, studies, monitoring, evaluations, and documentation. This position will support the preparation of technical guidelines and reporting for knowledge management on Health, Nutrition and WASH sectors.
∎ Make sure the standard quality implementation of Nutrition, Health and WASH program as per implementation guidelines.
∎ Understand and contribute to Resource acquisition and management. Contribute to cross-functional teams as agreed in project charter for development of new projects and experienced in coordinating with key stakeholders at multiple levels at any stage in this regard.
∎ Encourage and facilitate the documentation of best practices and lessons learned, directed toward multiple audiences, to influence policy formation, develop capacity and foster professionalism. Support to develop reporting and monitoring mechanism. Supervision water, sanitation and hygiene programs at all stages of the project management cycle.
∎ Develop /design necessary SBCC/IEC materials Oversee all staff under different projects under HNW sectors including recruitment, capacity building, ongoing performance evaluations, management, general well-being, work schedules, discipline etc. in co-ordination operation and P&C in accordance with World Vision policies and guidelines Organize the awareness raising, campaign event/program in communities’ level at camp area coordinating with different stakeholders.
∎ Actively engage in cluster meetings to ensure WV programming information is shared and request for cluster mechanisms are responded to. And other relevant technical working groups, will control the budget and prepare reports and work collaboratively with sectors as and when necessary.
∎ Define program implementation guideline and modalities (targeting criteria, mobilization modalities, partnerships, monitoring systems, staff schedules, etc.)
∎ Define overall implementation plan in collaboration with Donors, Government and other implement partners to ensure the full package is planned.
∎ Plan, develop and conduct trainings and start up according to final implementation plan and in line with relevant technical protocols.
∎ Ensure sound monitoring of program activities, linking with operation units and monitoring team at field level·         Ensure that logistics and administrative arrangements are made timely with the concerned departments.
∎ Ensure stewardship of equipment, materials, supplies and medical supplies as necessary·
∎ Plan and deliver trainings on Health, Nutrition and WASH related matters· Develop /design necessary SBCC/IEC materials·
∎ Ensure timely submission and technical soundness of all reports· Ensure improved project quality through adherence to set protocols.
∎ Remain up to date with public health, nutrition & WASH research, policy, guidance and initiatives and ensure dissemination with relevant staff·
∎ Ensure projects are aligned with NO (National Office), regional/global strategy, and HNW sector.
