Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sector Coordinator & Specialist Livelihood will support Christian Aid's operations in Bangladesh and support Christian Aid team and partner organisation to deliver livelihoods and market interventions.
∎ Sector Coordinator & Specialist - Livelihoods and Market will be responsible for planning and implementing of livelihood and market component in adherence with Christian Aid's and donor guidelines and standards, for Christian Aid's Rohingya Response programme at Cox's Bazar.
∎ S/he will technically support livelihoods and market works that aim to improve the business environment and improve access to livelihoods opportunities as well as increase the skill set of target groups to meet the immediate needs and coping mechanisms of the affected population, both Rohingya refugees and host Communities.
∎ S/he will ensure that food security, cash, market and other related livelihood activities are integrated in program designing, planning, MEAL and archived expected outcomes.
∎ Sector Coordinator & Specialist- Livelihoods and Market will report to Consortium manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Significant experience ( 5 to 7 years) in livelihoods and market systems development work, particularly involving markets, value chain development, private sector engagement and / or social enterprise initiatives.
∎ Excellent understanding and proven experience of Livelihoods and Market assessment, planning designing and managing interventions especially in emergency context.
∎ Demonstrable experience of working on market related component of livelihoods such as value chain management, cash for work, skills building capacity etc.
∎ Good understanding of and commitment to linking humanitarian in both refugee settings and host communities.
∎ Demonstrated experience of integrating gender and inclusion into livelihoods and market intervention and cross collaboration with other sectors (Health, Nutrition, Protection and WASH).
∎ Demonstrated collaborative approach including working with Government officials with good negotiation skills, diplomacy and community-based organisations as well as private sectors.
∎ Proven ability to Train and develop capacity and skill on livelihoods and market approaches.
∎ Experience of working effectively with IT (Word, Outlook, Excel), analytical and problem solving and communication skills including written and oral English;
∎ Excellent organisational, management and coordination skills;
∎ Ability to manage a varied workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines;
∎ Illustrated commitment to, and a good understanding of, the CHS and Sphere standard values and ability to bring these alive in your work

Salary:
∎ T1,675,746 - T1,925,326 Salary (full time)
