Responsibilities & Context:

Sales Monitoring Officer – Key Job Responsibilities

1. Sales Performance Tracking

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance across all channels and regions.

  • Compile and analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities.

  • Track achievement of sales targets and quotas for sales teams and individual representatives.

2. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular sales performance reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for management review.

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of sales transactions, forecasts, and pipelines.

  • Create dashboards and visual reports to simplify sales data interpretation.

3. Sales Forecasting & Analysis

  • Assist in forecasting future sales based on historical data and market patterns.

  • Analyze market conditions, product performance, and customer behavior to support strategic decisions.

  • Identify low-performing areas and recommend corrective actions.

4. Compliance & Process Monitoring

  • Ensure adherence to company sales policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Verify accuracy of sales orders, pricing, discounts, and promotional activities.

  • Monitor the implementation of sales initiatives and campaigns.

5. Coordination & Support

  • Work closely with sales teams to gather field updates and resolve sales-related issues.

  • Coordinate with marketing, finance, and operations for seamless sales processes.

  • Provide data-driven insights to support sales strategies and planning.

6. CRM / System Management

  • Manage and update sales monitoring tools and CRM systems.

  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in sales platforms.

  • Train sales personnel on proper data entry and system usage.

7. Sales Audit & Evaluation

  • Conduct periodic audits of sales activities and documentation.

  • Validate KPI achievements and incentive computations.

  • Identify discrepancies and recommend corrective measures.

8. Continuous Improvement

  • Suggest process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and reporting accuracy.

  • Monitor customer feedback trends and propose measures to improve customer engagement.
