Job Context:
∎ The Sales Manager we are looking for will hold the key responsibility of generating packaging inquiries and converting it to Sales across the Packaging product line.
∎ He has to be market savvy and have a thorough knowledge of the packaging industry as well as have a good understanding on the ground level process of how this competitive business operates.
∎ Whilst thriving to obtain buyer nominations being one aspect of the requirement, understanding the customer needs, meeting them and converting the business locally by using his / her relationship skills is of utmost importance. Hence, an existing client base across factories and buying / liaison offices with an excellent rapport is important.
∎ Besides, analysis and timely updates regarding the happenings in the market, pre-planning the types of RM required based on the brands and its seasonality, monthly/ quarterly / annual sales forecasting, intake planning and sales conversion is an imperative capability required of the expected candidate.
∎ A proven track record in the industry in a similar position is mandatory, whilst an existing clientele who is already being catered to and could churn the sale would be a definite advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Sales Manager - Packaging, is responsible for partnering with the relevant department to support a range of strategic initiatives, including:
∎ Generate and execute account strategies to achieve the set Sales Targets
∎ Develop a prospective customer base with regular sales leads
∎ Service and retain the existing customer base maintain high levels of relationship
∎ Regular customer visits to existing and prospective clients to acquire/secure/enhance the business in a profitable manner.
∎ Timely submission of reports to the higher management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 28 years
∎ Specialized in Packaging item sales.
∎ 5 years+ relevant experience
∎ Demonstrate excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
∎ Accountability
∎ Adaptability
∎ Analytical ability
∎ Excellent communication skills
∎ Excellent operating skills over MS Office
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
