Responsibilities & Context: About the Role
As a Software Sales Intern at Nelsis Group, you'll play a vital role in driving our sales growth and expanding our client base. You'll work alongside a seasoned sales team, gaining valuable experience in the B2B (business-to-business) sales environment. This is an excellent opportunity to learn the ropes of software sales, develop your sales skills, and contribute to the success of a dynamic and growing company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential customers within your assigned target market.
- Utilize various tools and techniques to generate qualified leads through activities like cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events (virtually or in-person).
- Understand customer needs and pain points to determine if Nelsis Group's solutions are the right fit.
- Actively participate in the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to proposal creation and closing.
- Conduct product demonstrations, showcasing the features and benefits of Nelsis Group's ERP software, websites, apps, SMM, and SEO services.
- Develop compelling sales presentations tailored to each prospect's specific needs and challenges.
- Manage your assigned sales pipeline, effectively tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up with leads.
- Collaborate with the sales team and technical experts to close deals and secure new client contracts.
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process and beyond.
- Gain initial exposure to account management by maintaining positive relationships with newly acquired clients.
- Conduct research to understand current industry trends and identify new market opportunities for Nelsis Group's products and services.
- Analyze competitor offerings, highlighting how Nelsis Group provides a superior value proposition.
- Gain exposure to the marketing department by assisting with social media marketing initiatives and content creation.
- Contribute to the development of sales and marketing collateral, such as presentations and brochures.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports, tracking leads, opportunities, and closed deals.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights and contributing to sales strategies.
- Remain open to feedback and constantly strive to improve your sales skills and knowledge.
