Job Description - Sales Executive
Position Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and target-oriented Sales Executive to join our Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating room sales, corporate business, group bookings, event inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and business partners.
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong networking abilities, and a passion for hospitality sales.
Key Responsibilities
Generate room bookings, corporate business, and event sales for the resort
Identify and develop new business opportunities through direct sales and networking
Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, and event planners
Conduct regular client visits and sales calls
Promote resort packages, seasonal offers, and promotional campaigns
Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets set by management
Prepare sales reports, market feedback, and competitor analysis
Coordinate with reservations, front office, and operations teams to ensure smooth guest experiences
Attend sales events, fairs, and networking programs when required
Follow up on inquiries, quotations, and confirmations professionally and promptly
Maintain updated client databases and sales records
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or relevant field
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality sales will be appreciated; however, fresh graduates and enthusiastic newcomers are also encouraged to apply.
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good understanding of corporate and leisure sales markets
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Well-groomed, professional appearance, and positive attitude
Willingness to travel for sales activities when required
Preferred Skills
Existing corporate client network will be considered an advantage
Experience in resort or luxury hospitality sales preferred
Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
Knowledge of OTA, travel trade, and event sales markets
