Responsibilities & Context:

1. Position Overview & Core Objective

We are seeking an aggressive, self-driven, and technically proficient Sales Engineer to drive the field-sales and business development operations of our high-end surveying equipment division.

The primary core objective is to execute intensive direct field outreach. The selected candidate will conduct mandatory, in-person visits to B2B clients, engineering project sites, construction firms, government development authorities, Public & Engineering Universities and marine organizations to generate premium sales leads, conduct product demonstrations, and close high-value accounts.

2. Key Product Portfolio

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for representing, pitching, and selling advanced geospatial and hydrographic technologies, including but not limited to:

Product Classification

A. Total Station Systems: Civil engineering firms, structural construction companies, and land surveying agencies.

B. Geodetic GPS / GNSS Receivers: High-precision geodetic positioning, land mapping, and infrastructure planning.

C. Echo Sounders: Hydrographic surveying, bathymetric mapping, and marine port development projects.

D. ADCP Systems: Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers used for river discharge measurement and oceanography.

3. Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Field Procurement: Conduct daily, extensive in-person field visits to potential clients, independent consultants, and project engineers to generate high-quality sales leads.

  • Technical Demonstrations: Present and demonstrate the structural, physical, and technical capabilities of our surveying equipment lines directly to decision-makers on-site.

  • Solution Mapping: Master the technological frameworks of client requirements and map them accurately to our geomatics solutions portfolio.

  • Corporate Ambassadorship: Maintain a highly refined, professional presentation, sharp communication style, and dignified personality representing the corporate values of the organization.

4. Mandatory Candidate Prerequisites

  • Academic Profile: State-board certified Diploma in Engineering / BSc Engineering, specializing strictly in either Civil Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

  • Industry Experience: A solid minimum of 2 years of active field-sales experience specifically dedicated to surveying materials, instruments, or related geospatial hardware. *Candidates, without this direct survey, sales background will be rejected automatically*.

  • Technical Appetite: A deep, proactive interest in continuously learning product technology, software interfaces, and engineering dynamics associated with advanced survey systems.

5. Onboarding Framework & Apprenticeship Protocol

No Formal Classroom Training Provided: The company does not offer traditional, classroom-style training seminars or hand-holding. The selected candidate will learn purely through a real-time, practical, field-based apprenticeship framework by shadowing and working alongside senior technical engineers on site.

Compensation Structure: A nominal base salary will be paid throughout this practical apprenticeship phase. Upon completion of the apprenticeship period, the permanent compensation package, structural incentives, and lucrative commissions will be scaled upward based strictly on evaluated performance, demonstrated capability, and operational output.

6. Binding Terms, Security Deposit & Longevity Criteria

  • Service Commitment: Candidates must provide a firm, unconditional commitment to serving the organization for a minimum duration of three (3) consecutive years.

  • Work Ethic Warning: This position demands extreme physical endurance, continuous client site travel, and intensive independent study. Individuals who are not deeply committed to rigorous hard work, field resilience, and constant technical self-education are strictly advised NOT to apply.
