1. Position Overview & Core Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled, meticulous, and analytical minded Repair & Maintenance Engineer to lead our technical service and instrument calibration department.

The core objective of this role is to diagnose, troubleshoot, and overhaul high-precision geomatics and marine equipment. The selected engineer will be solely responsible for executing both Hardware Component-Level Repairs and Firmware/Software Diagnostic Configurations, ensuring all instruments meet rigorous precision standards before they are deployed to end-users and institutional projects.

2. Target Equipment & System Domain

The engineer must possess deep technical troubleshooting capabilities across our entire elite product line, which includes:

• Geospatial Instrumentation: Total Stations, Electronic Theodolites, and high-precision RTK GPS/GNSS systems.

• Hydrographic & Oceanographic Systems: Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP), Single/Dual-Frequency Echo Sounders, and associated marine sensors.

3. Key Responsibilities & Technical Duties

• Dual-Layer Repair Execution: Independently manage and execute comprehensive repairs involving both complex hardware circuitry (PCB diagnostics, optical realignments, mechanical sensors) and firmware optimization (system updates, calibration software, data recovery).

• International Technical Liaison: Serve as the direct point of contact with overseas manufacturers' global technical expert teams. Troubleshoot complex engineering issues, interpret technical schematics, and coordinate advanced service protocols directly with international principal engineers.

• Quality Assurance & Calibration: Perform rigorous post-repair testing and factory-standard calibrations to ensure optimal field reliability for clients.

4. Mandatory Candidate Prerequisites

• Academic Profile: State-board certified Diploma in Engineering / BSc in Engineering, specializing strictly in either Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• Professional Experience: A solid minimum of 2 years of active engineering experience in instrument repair, electronics servicing, or geospatial equipment maintenance.

• Linguistic Proficiency: Absolute fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory. The candidate must be fully capable of communicating fluidly, writing detailed technical problem reports, and participating in live technical support sessions with international experts.

• Technical Versatility: A strong baseline understanding of both electrical/hardware systems and microchip firmware environments.

5. Training Model & International Opportunities

• No Special Basic Training Provided: The company will not provide basic training or introductory schooling. Candidates are expected to possess strong foundational repair skills upon joining the team.

• Advanced International Training: For highly eligible, top-performing candidates who prove their competence, the company will sponsor advanced specialized training programs abroad at the manufacturers' overseas facilities.

• International Training Bond: Candidates selected for overseas training must sign an unconditional legal bond committing to serving the organization for a minimum duration of three (3) consecutive years following the completion of the international program.
