Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and drive achievement of national sales targets through structured planning and performance monitoring.

  • Set and cascade sales targets across regions, territories, and distributors; ensure alignment and execution.

  • Develop and implement capability-building modules for the field sales force; ensure continuous upskilling and training.

  • Design and drive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, expand distribution infrastructure, manage alternate channels, and lead the merchandiser team.

  • Identify, assess, and develop field force competencies through performance evaluations and strategic interventions.

  • Monitor KPI-based performance metrics and take corrective actions to optimize team output and sales efficiency.

  • Oversee end-to-end distribution management, including damage and expiry control, as per Annual Operating Plan (AOP).

  • Design and manage performance-based incentive programs; analyze impact and refine approaches to maximize motivation and results.

  • Establish and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sales and distribution operations.

  • Launch and manage reward & recognition initiatives to boost field engagement and morale; conduct regular talent reviews.

  • Collaborate with HR for hiring, onboarding, and inducting new sales team members to support growth and team expansion.
