Experience:
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Professional certification in Occupational Health & Safety will be an added advantage.
Training in Construction Safety / HSE Management.
Experience
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
Experience in handling safety procedures in building, infrastructure, or industrial construction projects.
Prior experience working with contractors, labor teams, and project engineers.
Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge of construction safety standards, regulations, and best practices.
Understanding of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and site safety controls.
Familiarity with risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation.
Knowledge of emergency response procedures and accident prevention methods.
Experience conducting toolbox meetings and safety training sessions.

Job Summary:
The Safety Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities are carried out in compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards. The role includes monitoring site activities, preventing accidents, conducting safety inspections, and ensuring workers follow all safety procedures.

Reporting to: Project Manager
Duties & Responsibilities as Safety Supervisor:
Ensure all workers use appropriate PPE at all times.
Conduct daily safety inspections of the construction site.
Identify unsafe conditions and take immediate corrective actions.
Conduct daily/weekly toolbox meetings to promote safety awareness.
Ensure proper safety signage, barricades, and warning systems at work areas.
Monitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, excavation, and electrical work.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss events, and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, checklists, and incident reports.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and local safety regulations.
Coordinate with the project manager and engineers to implement safety improvements.
Assist in emergency response and first aid arrangements at the construction site.
Working Conditions:
Site-based role with regular field supervision.
May require working beyond standard hours in emergencies or special situations.
