• Proven experience in a safety officer role or a similar position within [relevant industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing].
• Relevant professional safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using safety management software and tools.

• Conduct daily workarounds of the project site to ensure compliance with safety regulations and that all safety devices are in place.
• Maintain and follow up on daily, weekly, and monthly safety checklists.
• Lead and conduct Tool Box Meetings (TBM) and monthly safety meetings.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and report on safety performance, including incidents and near misses.
• Provide training and support to staff on safety practices and emergency procedures.
• Ensure that all safety documentation is up to date and maintained.
