Responsibilities & Context:

1. Sales and Market Performance

  • Achievement of Sales Targets, gain market Share, and make plan for Area Expansion.
  • Brand Awareness, market Penetration and customer focus. Building strong product or brand recognition and in gaining mindshare among stakeholders.
  • Lead and supervise a strong marketing team, extend support to develop policies and procedures, and add value to business growth;
  • Lead, monitor, and evaluate marketing strategies, long-term projections, and business plans for products based on volume and value, as well as the company's financial objectives within the planning horizon.
  • The individual oversees the development of the market channel and works closely with the sales team to establish sales territories, quotas, and goals.

2. Planning, Reporting & Market Intelligence

  • Effective Sales Planning & Reporting. Preparing and presenting well-informed area sales planning & reporting. Clear execution strategies, drive efficiency and trust.
  • Market Insight Utilization: Actively gather and apply customer insights and competitive
  • Promote and establish the brand for the market and prepare and implement the country plan: brand promotion of the product, customer and dealer meetings.
  • The individual is responsible for planning and supervising advertising and promotion activities, which encompass print, online, electronic media, and direct communications.

3. Team Leadership & Capability Development

  • Team Management & Guidance: Involves steering to relevant Team-setting goals, monitoring progress, and coaching for performance enhancements.
  • Talent Development & Succession Planning: Identifying, training, and grooming technical or leadership talent forms part of the broader expectations.
  • The team develops and recommends product positioning and packaging strategies to achieve the highest possible long-term market share.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Collaboration Across Departments: A standout works closely with marketing, agronomy, logistics, finance, and supply teams to align on pricing, promotions, product supply, and strategy execution.
  • Maintain liaison with R&D for developing, screening, and selecting suitable new variety as per changing market dynamics and production team.

5. Operational Excellence:

  • Executional Effectiveness: Driving sales execution flawlessly-ensuring timely delivery, smooth customer service, and strong channel coordination (e.g., with dealers, distributors) is essential.
  • Cash / Collection Management: Ensuring timely collection from the market helps maintain the financial health of the operation and indicates disciplined field management.
  • Develop pricing strategies, establish price fixation, conduct cost analysis, and improve profitability according to the plan and company standards.

6. Strategic & Analytical Abilities:

  • Strategic Thinking & Market Planning: Developing actionable regional strategies, planning promotional campaigns (especially aligned with seasonal peaks such as planting seasons or festivals), and anticipating market trends are critical.
  • Analytical Decision-Making: The ability to analyze data from sales figures to customer behavior and regional dynamics and translate it into informed decisions or corrective actions is valued highly.

7. Soft Skills & Professional Traits:

  • Communication, Negotiation & Influencing: Effective communication across stakeholders-internal teams, customers, and distributors is foundational, as is strong negotiation skills and the influence to align partners toward goals.
