Responsibilities & Context: The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for driving regional business growth through effective sales and marketing strategies. The position requires strong leadership to manage the regional sales team, develop market expansion plans, strengthen distributor networks, and ensure consistent achievement of sales targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, target-oriented, and capable of building strong relationships with customers, trade partners, and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve regional sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the regional sales team to ensure individual and team performance goals are met.
- Identify new market opportunities, develop new territories, and expand the customer base.
- Manage distributors, dealers, and key accounts to ensure smooth business operations and market coverage.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to support strategic decision-making.
- Plan and implement promotional activities in coordination with the marketing team to enhance brand visibility.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
- Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions and provide support to the sales team.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing strategies, and ethical standards.
