The Assistant Manager/ Manager – Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving business performance within the assigned sales area. As the sole sales representative in the territory, the role requires strong ownership, proactiveness, accountability, and excellent organizational skills.
You will independently manage sales operations, coordinate with distributors and dealers, maintain strong customer relationships, and drive overall market development. Success in this role demands field discipline and the ability to achieve targets with minimal supervision.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales, revenue, and profitability targets within the assigned district.
Independently manage the entire territory, ensuring full market coverage and regular engagement with dealers, retailers, and key accounts.
Expand existing markets and identify new opportunities across urban and rural areas.
Conduct regular visits to dealers and customers, and provide accurate market insights to management.
Visit ongoing and upcoming project sites to promote products, highlight value propositions, and support site stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, contractors, and site management.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, trends, and customer preferences, and report updates to management.
Coordinate with logistics and transport teams to ensure timely product delivery and smooth operations.
Track customer payments, follow up on collections, coordinate with accounts, and escalate issues when necessary.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports including performance, forecasts, and market analysis.
Identify branding opportunities and coordinate with the branding team for effective execution.
Organize and support promotional activities to enhance brand visibility and value within the district.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, reporting standards, and ethical practices.
Follow company values, rules, regulations, and the established chain of command.
