Restaurant Host Qualifications / Skills:

• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and interact with guests effectively.

• Ability to resolve conflicts and address guest concerns professionally and diplomatically.
• Team player mindset, willing to collaborate and support colleagues to achieve common goals.
• High energy level and enthusiasm for providing outstanding hospitality.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in performing tasks to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Professional demeanor and appearance at all times. 
• Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred but not required.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you`ll play a crucial role in ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they step through our doors.

Job responsibilities:

• Welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, extending a genuine hospitality.

• Ascertains guests` dining or lodging needs and preferences to provide personalized service.

• Seat guests promptly and effectively manage the seating chart to optimize dining flow.

• Monitor restaurant activity to anticipate seating availability and ensure efficient table turnover.

• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

• Perform opening and closing duties as needed to prepare and close the restaurant for service.

• Assist colleagues with side work and other tasks.

• Collaborate with fellow team members and other departments to foster positive working relationships and deliver seamless service.
