∎ Reporting and Staff Supervision: The post is located in the Programme Unit. Resource Mobilization Specialist will report to the Programme and Partnership Development Manager.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Summary of Key Functions:
∎ Strategic advocacy and partnership development
∎ Resource Mobilisation and Programme Development
∎ Provide support for institutional knowledge building and knowledge sharing, focusing on achievement of the following results
∎ 1. Strategic advocacy and partnership development:
∎ Support the development of strategies tailored to specific donors as well as trends in funding landscape
∎ Provide strategic advice and policy recommendations regarding proposal and partnership development
∎ Provides technical support during negotiation processes with key partners
∎ Provides timely and professional response to Communication Officers requests for support on matters of partner and donor relations
∎ Support the development and distribution of marketing, communication and partner relationship management materials
∎ Close interaction with senior management to share information and knowledge; and to provide proactive support and follow-up in building and maintaining effective partner relations
∎ Develop and manage partner relationship management intelligence and database
∎ 2. Resource Mobilisation and Programme Development
∎ Creation and harmonisation of partnerships with governments, country and donors' offices to identify and pursue project opportunities
∎ Actively participate in the identification, formulation and development of new projects and programmes
∎ Assist partners in adapting/formulating project ideas/project proposals in accordance with UPBD approach
∎ Develop high-quality concept notes, expressions of interest, bids and project proposals that are consistent with UPBD mandate and strategic goals
∎ Support the supervisor in negotiating the most cost-effective and mutually beneficial terms for UPBD services with prospective clients and partners
∎ Train and develop business and partnership competencies of UPBD personnel
∎ 3. Provide support for institutional knowledge building and knowledge sharing, focusing on achievement of the following results:
∎ Synthesis of lessons learned and best practices.
∎ Sound contributions to knowledge networks and communities of practice.
∎ Provide technical guidance and on the job training to ensure work standards are achieved, both in terms of quantity/quality of input/output processed
∎ Perform any other related duties as required and assigned by the supervisor

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Excellent representational skills
∎ Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Office 365 / Office 365
∎ Web management skill
∎ Experience:
∎ At least 5 years of experience in resource mobilization and partnership management.
∎ Proven track record of effective resource mobilisation.
∎ Both private sector and field experience in the related field is a plus.
∎ Knowledge of consortium programme management is plus.
∎ Language Requirements:
∎ Excellent fluency in English and Bangla
∎ Excellent translation skill in Bangla to English and vice versa.
