Educational Qualification & Experience

For Resident Engineer (RE):      

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 3 years’ relevant experience, OR, Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.     

• Professional experience in construction supervision, project management, and quality control of public infrastructure projects, preferably water supply and sanitation (WASH) related works, will be given preference.

For Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE):

• Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience.

Duty Station

• Cox’s Bazar / Noakhali (as assigned)

Contract Type

• Project-based appointment (approximately 30 months)

• Supervise and monitor construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards

• Conduct site supervision of water supply and sanitation-related construction activities

• Ensure quality control of materials and workmanship

• Coordinate with contractors, site staff, and relevant stakeholders for effective project implementation

• Verify work progress, measurements, and assist in the certification of contractor bills

• Maintain site records, measurements, and prepare regular progress reports

• Ensure compliance with project timelines, safety requirements, and environmental guidelines
