• Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, applied statistics, economics, public policy, or other quantitative social science disciplines (Master’s degree preferred)

• At least 5 years

• Quantitative Skills: Strong technical understanding of economics and econometrics is highly desirable. Understanding of data science is preferred.
• Proven proficiency in questionnaire development and digital data collection using SurveyCTO, Survey Solutions, and KoboToolbox, as well as data cleaning, statistical analysis, and reporting using STATA, SPSS, and R.
• A minimum of 5-year of relevant work experience is desirable although not required. Experience managing field staff in developing countries strongly preferred
• Research project management experience mandatory.
• Excellent management and organizational skills; ability to successfully completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines, required
• Communication Skills: Attention to detail and advanced writing and presentation skills are required
• Language: English and Bangla fluency required in both written and oral.

MOMODa FOUNDATION is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly qualified professional for this position. We are seeking a candidate who can commit to the position for a minimum period of two years. The position will be primarily based in Dhaka, with travel to project locations outside Dhaka as required.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day research activities, from planning through implementation, while ensuring adherence to quality standards. This includes training, supervising, and providing technical guidance to both field and data operations teams, as well as conducting field visits as required.
• Actively manage project activities and operations to ensure the timely and effective achievement of project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all project-related activities and processes.
• Refine, translate, pre-test, and finalize survey questionnaires and other data collection instruments.
• Supervise data collection and data management processes and conduct data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
• Assist in data cleaning, preliminary analysis, and data organization while ensuring timely and secure access to data for researchers and supervisors.
• Maintain regular communication with Principal Investigators (PIs) regarding project progress, challenges, and key developments.
• Liaise regularly with partner organizations, provide timely updates and responses, and participate in meetings with key stakeholders as required.
• Maintain accurate records of interviews and research activities, ensuring the confidentiality and security of respondents' information in accordance with established protocols.
• Prepare and submit timely progress reports, technical reports, and project results to PIs, research partners, and funding agencies. Monitoring project expenditures and timeline.
• Monitor project expenditures, budgets, and implementation timelines to ensure efficient resource utilization and timely project completion.
• Ensure that all team members adhere to established project protocols, operational procedures, ethical standards, and quality assurance requirements.

An industry-standard remuneration will be offered. Salary is negotiable for highly qualified candidates.
