### *Required Qualifications*

* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in *Geography, Environmental Science/Studies, Remote Sensing, GIS*, or a closely related field.

* Strong background in environmental research, report writing, and data analysis.

* Proven experience in EIA/ESIA processes and documentation.

* Proficiency in GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), remote sensing tools, and statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS).

* Excellent communication, project leadership, and teamwork skills.

• 1 to 5 years

### *Desirable Skills*

* Experience working with environmental consulting firms or NGOs.

* Familiarity with Bangladesh’s environmental regulations and field conditions.

* Experience with participatory methods and stakeholder engagement.

Applicants should have demonstrated experience working with Python and R.

### *Position Overview*

We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as an *Research Associate*. This role involves conducting Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), leading and coordinating project activities, designing and executing research, preparing technical reports, and performing both qualitative and quantitative environmental analyses.

### *Key Responsibilities*

* Lead and coordinate EIA and other environmental consultancy projects.

* Conduct field investigations and stakeholder consultations as required.

* Prepare detailed technical reports, policy briefs, and environmental documentation.

* Apply GIS, remote sensing, and spatial analysis tools for environmental research.

* Design and conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

* Ensure timely project delivery and team coordination.

* Support capacity-building initiatives and research dissemination.
