Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Social Science (MSS)
∎ Graduation / Post Graduation in Anthropology, Social Science, and Development Studies.
∎ Educational qualifications may be relaxed for the candidates having experience of conducting at least 5 qualitative (FGD, KII and IDI) survey research projects.

Job Context:
∎ Mitra and Associates, a pioneer survey research organization in Bangladesh, is going to recruit Research Assistant for conducting a qualitative study for the street children.
∎ 20 Research Assistants (Qualitative) are required for one month on a temporary basis to conduct qualitative data collection work (IDIs, KIIs, FGDs) individually/teams in 12 city corporations in Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience for conducting qualitative interview (FGD, KII and IDI)
∎ English language proficiency
∎ Must have good interviewing skills
∎ Must have command over Microsoft Office, including free hand typing in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to transcribe and translate from the audio recording
∎ Must have the willingness to work outside of Dhaka
∎ Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish set goals efficiently

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 35 years
∎ Good communication skills
∎ MICROSOFT OFFICE
∎ Report Writing

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Per day 1500 taka (including Salary, DA, Local TA)- outside Dhaka; Per day 1200 taka (including Salary, DA, Local TA)- inside Dhaka (including Narayanganj and Gazipur); Actual long travel (outside Dhaka). Salary and other allowances will be paid on no-work-no pay basis.
