Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

We are looking for a qualified and motivated Registrar – General Surgery to join our General Surgery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the clinical team in providing safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical care while contributing to the smooth functioning of the department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Consultants and senior medical professionals in the assessment, management, and follow-up of surgical patients.

  • Participate in ward rounds, outpatient services, emergency duties, and other clinical activities as assigned.

  • Support pre-operative and post-operative patient management.

  • Assist in surgical procedures under the supervision of Consultants/Senior Surgeons.

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and patient records.

  • Coordinate with nursing, allied health, and other clinical teams to ensure continuity of patient care.

  • Comply with hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Department Head/Consultant.
