• Diploma in Medical

• 2 to 4 years

• Age 25 to 30 years

• Transport of Patient 

• Carrying the patient with care from hospital to hospital / home to hospital / hospital to home / accident site to hospital by ambulance services.

• In case of any kind of emergency situation treating the patient in the ambulance in consultation with doctors.

• Extended Responsibilities:

• Extending help in areas of Emergency for patient care.

• Responsible for quality patientcare as established by the Department;

• Carries out all instructions effectively and efficiently.

• Good technical knowledge and skill.

• Recognizes and analyses the patient needs

• On duty in the Accident and Emergency Department and Ambulance services is responsible for carrying out the care plan as per the order of physician in charge of the patient

• Responsible to administer medications after following the six rights of medications

• Ensures patient safety and care during transfer of the patient to and from other Hospitals and Departments

• Maintains effective communication with physician on duty at hospital to relate patient condition and obtain orders for treatment;

• Responsible for quality patientcare as established by the Department;

• Maintains his / her professional dignity at all times
